Your State Medical/Prescription Drugs Plan

e State offers medical coverage for you and your family through Aetna and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Delaware. Here are your options:

  • Aetna HMO
  • Blue Cross Blue Shield of Delaware:
    • First State Basic
    • Comprehensive PPO
    • Blue Care IPA Plan

Your dependents are covered through the end of the calendar year in which they reach age 21, or through the end of the month they reach age 24, for full time college students or graduate, whichever occurs first.

When you enroll in a State medical plan, you are automatically enrolled in prescription drug coverage through Medco Health Solutions.
