Vision Care
When Coverage Ends for a Dependent Child

The State of Delaware Group Health Care Insurance rules state:

7.05 Coverage for a dependent child will end the earlier of the following:

a. December 31st of the year in which he or she reaches age 21. If a full-time student, coverage will end on the earlier of the following: (1) the end of the month in which the dependent child is no longer a full-time student, or (2) the end of the month in which the dependent child atains age 24.

b. The last day of the month in which the child marries;

c. The date the child ceases to be dependent on you or your spouse for at least 50% support per Sections 2.01(c),(d).
